I have had two successful trades on AKK so I have not been burnt. You don't have to lose money on a stock to be critical.
As for my suggestion they will not find oil in meaningful quantities, one doesn't invest on hope, with the current I am confident that they are unlikely to find oil in meaningful commercial quantities. Not only is the area not special , but it's not an area that a severely undercapitalised company can make money from easily
