Hi SG
I get your point about the CEO facing a significant tax bill on his latest share sale. What he does with the money is unknown but if I were him I would diversify my investments. Perhaps his wife has nagged him into buying that top end property in Melbourne (where SBM is H/Q) and its costing a lot more now that he is competing against a lot of hot Chinese money.
If you like a bit of risk and long term growth in the goldie space you may want to have a gander at RSG and AQG. I hold both, a lot more of RSG than AQG (both have country and execution risks. RSG is tradeable (not that I know how to trade it).
I am holding plenty of spare cash for a possible low in the USD POG in the November/December timeframe. My crystal ball is saying gold goes down to at least USD1250, and possibly USD1200-1220, unless the little fat Kimmi gets the Trumpster to drop a heavy load on NK, in which case who knows where or if we will still be here to think about the gold price.
