From DNRM today. "Under the provisions of the Native Title Act 1993 (Cwth) (NTA), the National Native Title Tribunal is able to provide mediation services to parties who are experiencing difficulties in the negotiation of native title agreements.

Further under section 35 of the NTA, a negotiation party can make an application to the NNTT for an arbitrated decision.
