I've held SLR for a while and I'm in a slight profit,I contacted management a few months ago by email about the possibility of a share buyback but was very disappointed by their lack of interest.
I think issuing a dividend in this case is in nobody's interest and certainly making a ill conceived acquisition could spell disaster like before.
The management told me they are concentrating on further exploration which I don't disagree with but I think a combined strategy of a compromise between further exploration and a share buyback plan would be the least risky with the nice cash balance they have.
P.S the first time I contacted them I received no reply at all which was piss weak.
