Whilst the offshore lease is not currently affected the situation is Victoria is not exploration friendly. The Andrews Government has stopped conventional on shore exploration and it seems to be based on ideology coupled with keeping inner city seats.

The Government's stance can be argued as being 'anti-exploration'. Whilst they have not flagged changing the off shore situation their shutting down of our coal plants and investment in renewables indicates this is not a State where you would want to be investing in gas.

And yes, I have read the announcements but my confidence in this company could not be lower. The only thing it looks to be providing is a sizeable capital loss.
