hi dingo, Jesse made a very fantastic point . There are many early bulls in a bull market, they sell cheap with piddling profits and get out, ditto many early bears in a bear market they also exit with cheap shorted profits . Buying right and sitting tight is very very uncommon.

Only very high conviction guys can do it. Do you think any general retail investor holds Royal Gold or Franco Nevada from day one , nope . Never happens at all.

In today globalized internet world with so much continuous noise , the resolve of even guys with high conviction gets fully tested, the market makers also shake you by corrections of easily 40- 50 even in great scrips, so ultimately it is your internal mechanism which can protect you .Easier said than done.
