Yes, I think so too. I don't think Gordon & large holders of CBS are related. Clearly, CBS wants have its own channel to venting their shows instead negotiate contracts with channels 7 & 9.

Murdoch & Gordon should have known CBS (been the largest creditor) might make their move on TEN if TEN is in VA.

Before VA, CBS cannot buy TEN because Murdoch, Gordon & Packer (probably listen to Murdoch) have blocking stack of 10% shares or more. M&G can protect their News Corp & WIN, respectively with their blocking stakes.

Once in VA, share holders worth ZERO vote (M&G and Packer), creditors (CBS been the largest) have their votes & CBS (thanks to M&G) can make their cheap move on TEN... out fox Fox-tel (News Corp).

Mum & dad investors should have known.... why Packer desperately want to offload his shares but cannot find a buyer???

If M&G want to offer TEN a full takeover (eg 30c or higher) why their best friend Packer wants to sell out ASAP?

You want your buddies to hold shares for you to takeover. Because that reason I didn't want to buy TEN shares, and I knew VA should be around the corner and they can pick up TEN cheaply in VA.

A good learning experience for everyone and didn't cost me anything.
