Sorry did not get back to you Bob,, dont know if this is any help, but back in the early 80s I was in the genrel area with a geologist and we came across a leaching process for copper from old car bodys,, So simple,, a series of 6 concrete tanks set on a slope, water, which they had from a bore, being circulated, very similar to a hydroponic system, they were getting 2 44 gallon drums of copper a week, and we worked out that the 2 owners from the Isa were making 7 grand a week, They were paying an old pensioner peanuts, whose main job was to cut up the car bodys,.
The water which was full of alkaline was all that was requiered.
We worked out that the cost to set up at the time was about 10k, so on todays prices, double it.
