To me there were a couple of positives.
a) They were able to get some strikes at depth
b) The gravity analysis seemed to be of some use in finding iron stones, the source of the gold.
The negative was the strikes did not seem to be that rich.
It appears to me a matter of sitting and waiting until more work is done.
Someone with mining experience may be able to read more into that I can.
