The produced price of gold at Fosterville is already collapsing but the Swan deposit looks like it will send it to the floor. Given the spectacular increase of grade as they go deeper, I'm left wondering how high it can actually go. They have booked an extra million ounces at nearly 20g/t but it appears to be only the start of it. Even at a diluted grade of say 100 g/t, their cost of production could end up being ??$100 per ounce or less. Hopefully the same format rules at Tandarra and the Four Eagles, am certainly encouraged that the initial grades at Tandarra are much better close to surface than Fosterville had.
The only thing better than really high grade gold deep underground is really high grade gold close to surface (ie open pit). Why both CYL and NML haven't run like scalded cats on the latest close drill results at Tandarra is a mystery to me but at some point, the news will get around and the market will wake up.
GLTA and DYOR.
