    Another point that was contiunually mentioned during the Seante debate was that in regional areas where Prime broadcasts, a much greater percentage of the population still prefer FTA tv. Two of the reasons being, an older demographic as well as lack of access to reliable and fast enough internet speed for streaming.

    They thought that the NBN would be the answer to their problems but it sounds as though not much has improved and is unlikely to unless households are happy to fork out the extra dollars being asked for the service. (Still with no guarantee of meeting the download speeds they promise mind you!)

    Quick question, I'm overseas at the moment but was just wondering if there has been much in the way of tv advertising for the Same Sex Marriage Plebiscite, especially on Prime? Political advertising especially during an election year is always a huge plus for Prime, just wondering if the SSM debate will also be a good revenue raiser for Prime between major sporting events.
