Ive had some discussions about this with management 3 or 4 months ago. Its a tangle of webs caused mostly by a few dodgy locals. Most of the info I found on it was in Portuguese so you will need to translate.
Anyway, from what I can gather looking at the last quarterly is that we relinquished our rights to that lease and booked it as a loss, best to walk away from a mess others have created. BBX are not liable and I believe the case brought forward has already been rejected by the brazilian judiciary.

Looks like I'm not the only one with questions, how many times has BBX been suspended now, and why wasn't all this in the announcements?
I see Andy's turned up, maybe from his grouse shooting soiree in Scotland, or was it from a penguin suit affair at Royal Ascot? Maybe he can tell us with world-beating grades of an assortment of rare elements Barrick and Freeport-McMoran aren't beating a path to the garimpo.
