Ann: Latin sell Ilo copper project to Canadian TSX listed company, page-16

I don't think anyone could be happy with the share price decline over the last few years but my view is most of that has occurred because of the heavy funding costs to explore and get projects up to a position you can sell or JV them

They did sell the iron project Mariella at a profit after the big shareholder drilled it up several years ago , and using that money and many cap raises have spent a fortune on Guado and Ilo projects .

They have said they are looking to sell Guado and have stopped the spend putting the confirmed JORC in to maintenance only .

Now we also now know they do not need to to spend any money on Ilo South as that project is under a JV with First Quantum and that could bring in big dollars and they have entered into a binding agreement to sell its Ilo Norte and Ilo Este copper projects in Peru to Toronto SX listed Westminster Resources Limited which has a value to LRS of over $6m .

The lithium projects are where they need funding so it will be important to sell Guado and maximise the sale proceeds of Ilo.

If they can do that i can see the stock recovering towards its potential value which at one stage was close to $40m with half the shares on issue
