A cornerstone investor who is prepared to pump in $5M because "This investment is made as a long term strategic stake in a relatively small player in the Australian Dairy Industry which has some sensible plans based on what I see as a well thought out strategy on how to profit from the changing face of the industry by moving to premium and high volume products ....."
I find this all too convenient for a person to appear with $5M spare cash to pump into a company which has a dismal performance record and to think that it has the potential to generate profits in the future. This gentleman is not known in the dairy industry and nothing has been mentioned about his background and thus I am not convinced that this injection will see the desired results.
The bottom line is that the Board to be has not proved itself and needs to go and my vote is for a new Board to take over.
