Is this private placement a legitimate placement? As the company Ironbark-vest Pty Ltd is too new to qualify for a private placement under the Corporations Regulations, specifically as a sophisticated or professional investor. Is Paul Morrell a certified sophisticated investor as determined by an independent and unrelated accounting practice? The chances are neither are applicable nor legitimate and as a result the placement of shares could be cancelled and payment of $5m returned to its original owners.
