Where there's a reasonable amount of oil with a reasonable permeability and porosity but no pressure these wells flow slowly but consistently, some for in excess of 20 years, some much longer without increasing or decreasing flow. By flow I don't mean they flow to surface, that would require pressure, they flow into a void (the drilled well) only to the height of the oil bearing formation. Check the history of the Florence field. Investors should realise nor expect that this another Ghawar, it's a field that will produce oil at a commercial rate getting commercially better as it's developed. Hope this helps.
