I guess if the strategy is to set the share price up for a run they will want to hang around at these levels for a few days and build slowly so as to avoid queries from asx.... I am pretty sure there are some canny game players in the wings who know exactly what they are doing ......
this being said speculatively speaking ( nb : I know nothing including nothing about sophisticated traders) I feel that depending on how good /bad the announcement is going to be will predicate how high they jack the price up before the announcement.
As I need almost 4c in my superfund I am hoping they inch it well over 3. Maybe with a little teaser announcement first then something truly useful.....

Beyond this.. a query: so several years ago they tried to offload Penny's Find for $3 million.
If the company had the same number of shares ie 483.20 million then they valued this portion of the business at something just over 0.006 a share. (I hope my maths is wrong).
In the last five years what significant changes have there been?
If anyone out there can reassure me as to the current realistic value of this mine I would appreciate it
