That is true. But ores where the constituent metals and or sulphides (type of mineralisation)have not been described and don't assay by normal methods are rare.
We need to be told what we are dealing with. You just don't hide away 360g/t gold + PGM without seeing it under a microscope in some form.
If they can see sulphides or metal alloys in the rock with their eyes, which they think might be responsible for the ore grades, then send the rock to an independent expert for petrographic examination under a microscope and publish the results of the experts report. If the expert can't identify the sulphide/compound that's fine, then send it for independent examination under a SEM to determine if the sulphides at least contain the precious metals and publish that report.
