It appears that it is totally unrelated but I was curious by "Cipher", so I did a bit of research.

CipherCloud also seems to be a company that may have some synergy with Covata's vision ?????  Several venture capitalists involved, one of them being an arm of Deutsche Telekom ... I wonder whether with all of the recent management team changes whether Covata has managed to keep some sort of ongoing long term releationship with them???

It is a competitive market space ... joing up with Microsoft, a significant global player, adds some professional and credibility weight to Covata in its business sales and potential acquisition targets.  Watch this space.
