I am unsure of the Australian distributorship arrangements.
Why do you say sales have exceeded managements expectation? What were their expectations?
From the outside looking in it seems the aussie diist has been controlling order and stock flow . YOW may have helped drive some larger buyers .
YOW is obviously contributing something towards introduction marketing so I don't expect big $ profit in Australia as just not enough volume and start up expenses are involved. Seems YOW didn't have confidence to send / manufacture large amounts and place them in Australia and instead distributor seems to be controlling stock levels and order flow. You can't get dumber IMO running adverts and promotion when you can't supply and was always weird they didn't do much pre-marketing or promo before release even to the believers. We will never know how much any of these factors have slowed penetration into market but bluntly "what the hell else have management been doing"if it wasn't to concentrate on the re-release into their prior major market? The sad easter release was - well sad.
Can only get better I hope for shareholders as time keeps getting away from these guys and when you are burning funds it is not good.
Back to the old - need more volume sold in USA
Need more volume to spread their massive expenses
Money in the bank so promote the product and see if they can get sales otherwise the game is up and they can no longer delay supporting promotional material.
With such a crap record to date no one will believe any positive story going forward until they see it happening IMO.
Stiffy - talk of them buying anything more than a pack of gum will see all shareholders run as they have not shown ability IMO to profitably manage what they have let alone take on something new.
