Barbarians at the gate for you guys that havnt read it is an amazing book that reinforces the greed we are witnessing with the frenzy of M&A across the globe. It also gives a great insight into Henry Kravis and KKR. A great book for a midnight read.

Taleb has another book following his great Fooled by Randomness, titled Black Swan. Havnt sunk into yet so if you have read it tell me what you think.

If you have kids the greatest and simplest financial book that mirrors a Munger-Buffett model is The Richest Man in Babylon. The principles are clearly laid out and should be read over and over. Munger recommended this book to a 9 year old who attended the marathon Berkshire Hathaway meeting earlier this year.

A great time to invest in U.S businesses. With the usd at current highs and some predicting parity within year end this is a great time to set up and/or purchase a slice of corporate America. BAM, BRK.A/B, WMT, LUK,KO, GE.
