A decision on the port at Oakagee and rail infrastructure is expected to be made in the coming months , Alan Carpenter is going to be at the Midwest resources forum next week , which include Eneabba Gas, Ferrowest Limited, Roc Oil, Golden West Resources, Asia Iron Holdings, Murchison Metals, Mount Gibson Iron, Gindalbie Metals, Midwest Corporation and Gunson Resources.
Theres a bit of disquite from some land owners along the route for the 330 kilovolt power line from Eneabba, They are calling for an alternative route using goverment land rather than private land , so you would think this would only be a minor problem.
Westnet Rail now looks to be the front runner for the rail link to Oakagee , using Mullewa as a central hub betwwen the north, south and east iron ore mines, then the double guage, double track line would continue to Narngulu and from the to Oakagee port.
Lets hope it all goes smoothly.
