I understand they use technology to 'see through' the ground and can determine exactly what is down there and where it is...........very different from the old days of drilling and hoping..............
its a massive area, and if its good enuff for bhp to spend 25 million looking for what they believe is there, then its good enuff for me.................
they are also using history as a guide, like huge deposits in surrounding areas..........
I have no doubts about this sp at all.............
am sure I have read about finding nickel and iron ore using the latest technology
