I wonder whether they would explore a replacement debt facility with a more reputable institution at a lower rate given the debt total should now be reduced to a palatable sum? I ran the numbers a couple of months back but without knowing the specifics of JGB regarding any early repayment and likely refinancing costs it is probably not worth it. It would be nice to retire this lender however.
