Long term holder regretful sale

I will be regretfully selling my GWR shares this year. After buying about $30k worth back at the peak I will be selling them for a huge loss to offset my capital gains on my investment property that I am selling this year. Don't feel sorry for me I knew I was getting into a speccie stock. GWR still has until the end of June 2018 to do something for me, before I need to sell them for tax reasons. They have had ten years to do something and sadly the dice didn't roll my own way. This is the last roll of the dice for me.
