Some goods points you make Sevo - the water sourcing is an interesting one and a point not covered by others as clearly if at all.
Also it is great to see a couple of the prospective projects coming out with more detail and perspectives around pond constructions and costs. I agree Sevo its a capital vs operating cost trade-off. Unfortunately RWD have stopped short of disclosing what "encouragingly low" and "favourable" results actually are in their summary around pond construction and seepage testing as KLL did which means true understanding of cost implications we'll have to wait a bit longer for.
Otherwise it was pleasing to see the R&D refund allows the company sufficient cash to cover another 9 months work, albeit I imagine the cash burn may increase given their push into larger scale construction / pilot pond repairs and testing is now on the cards again.
The only lingering concern I have & perhaps I've missed is around the actual flooding that keeps getting referred to. I didn't think it was the wettest of seasons around that way and several of the peers did not seem as restricted - I wonder whether the fact that LD is at the end of the line for these desert lakes, historic rivers and paleochannels means there may be implications longer term around the regularity of flooding? Interested if anyone can shed any light on this?
But generally some positive signs of progress.
