What happens when the poo hits the fan and all the sea life die in the harbour including the salmon due to no oxygen in the water? Petuna is completely wiped out. Tassal and huon lose a large portion of their stock, recreational/professional fisherman have no more fish, and the workers of Strahan are without a job.
Then the government steps in and hands down huge fines to the 3 companies for not farming responsibly, but how can a company make any difference when they cannot directly make a difference to biomass caps, etc and the EPA doesn't listen to their concerns because one company who seems to have a hold over them only cares about profit.
I'm not saying huon is without fault, just that if they are correct isn't it better to keep pushing and make a change now rather than when it's to late?
