    Just for the record.
    My 4 young chooks are now laying 4 eggs a day that average just over 800g per dozen.

    Yesterday a huge eagle flew right over them, being mobbed by about 50 magpies and they didn't even look up. So whoever said Hyline chooks are lacking in survival instinct was spot on. The magpies were very loud too.
