    so Downey gets 5% of that 4c over the 56c payment.
    so 106m shares x 4c = $4.24m

    x 5% = #212k. Still not bad for no real risk and a bit of admin.

    Agree with @g12m0 re whether these offers should be allowed. Expect ASIC/ ASX to review it accordingly (hopefully!)

    Otherwise, they'll start appearing on other undervalued stocks and lesser informed shareholders could be taken advantage of.
