Currently I'm in the process of purchasing my first home and looking to liquidate some fully priced investments for the deposit. My banker asked why I don't want to sell GNX because it would lower my mortgage quite considerably. I said unless interest rates rise to double digits GNX will give me more returns than the cost of interest. I have never been so sure about a so called speculative investment.
