MM, this news is exceptionally well known. Has been posted before and market is fully aware.

It will have no bearing on the project. Only reason it became an issue was because of 2016 US election campaign which sought to find any information that could in any way paint Hillary as using her family name to help garner favours/ money / influence etc. turns out they found quite a bit of material including this one.

But it was never a secret and certainly has no impact on the actual project itself. The environmental impacts of small shallow open pits are pretty well understood in mining circles. The environmental issue was not the main issue, it was the Clinton issue. Hence why vendors chose to amicably part ways and head down the route of ASX listing.

In simple they didn't want the muddy waters of the Clinton family ruining what is both a robustly economic project and one that is important to Haiti's future wealth.

But also the new president sworn in in Feb 2017 is the main game changer on this project. He was elected on a mandate to promote open borders, foreign investment and economic progress for Haiti. He was a very successful business man and mows how to achieve this goal.
