From a previous ANN:
"Geological mapping outlined a
1.6 km by 0.8 km mafic body intruded into the rhyolite sequence, associated with three areas of old artisanal gold workings. The Daniel and Cutia workings are located on the mafic/rhyolite contact and the
Adelar workings within the mafic body."
From this ANN: "A 260kg surface sample of
unweathered mineralised gabbro, collected from an area of approximately
110m x 200m"
For the non-geological people, gabbro is a mafic rock. To spell it out (why do I keep doing this), the mineralised rock they took the bulk sample from that went
6 ounces per tonne gold equivalent or 180g/t (adding in Pt-Pd-Ag-REE credits) is 1.6km by 0.8km in size and these orebodies have a very large depth component. It's fresh rock so there's no supergene enrichment. 1 cubic metre of fresh gabbro = 2.86 tonnes.
I don't want to crunch numbers because even if I use 1oz Au the numbers will blow my mind.
