were you confused with the volume discussion ??

sorry, I thought it was all sorted out........

in a nutshell....I use the turnover figure for the XJO (ASX S&P200) for my analysis, instead of the 'normal' volume figure, with a 14 period average line, mainly because everyone who is interested in volume looks at the 'normal' volume, and the turnover sometimes illustrates a difference that most would not see....so I use that as a differential.

And redbacka is using the volume figure for the whole entire ASX marketplace (not just the XJO), and uses a 10 period average line.

That is why we sometimes do not agree on whether volume was high, average or low.

Does that make sense ??
