Sevo- with the exception on "None of the above", the other possibilities you describe would have indicated him to be flaky, a weak leader, and lacking integrity.?
If either party was worth their anything they would have had a good robust discussion, including opinion seeking from the controlling shareholder before they shook hands and signed the agreement. I am incredulous that any naievity would have been involved with such senior roles on either side.
