We are not producing chocolate 24/7. I believe that Madelaine chocolate factory is not operational over the weekend. Nor do they do any overnight shifts. But I'll double check to be sure as things may have changed since I last looked into this.
I have to disagree with you regarding demand also. Why would CVS come crawling back to us after a trial from years back. Why did Target request a trial? Why are some stores here in US double stacking and triple stacking boxes when they were only carrying one box six or twelve months ago.
I use expiry dates to gauge stock levels. All Yowies that get produced get given 18 months. If I am seeing expiry dates 17 or 18 months in the future, like I am seeing now, I assume we are selling Yowies almost as fast as we can make them. If we were sitting on stock I'd see expiry dates in early to mid 2018. Feel free to call me out on this system, but it's all I have to go by.
