I recall some announcements a few years about ERL investing in a Barite project in Africa through Barola. ERL subsequently sold out of Barola as from memory they considered the investment "non-core". Probably a good thing because barite prices went south with the oil price. I think the company has fallen on its feet sticking to simple local gold story.
