The main thing for us small shareholders is that Price we buy must not be very expensive, below $4 is ok price to enter, as long company stabilises, the company doesn't go bust, Bad decisions in the past gave us the opportunity to buy a cheap well-established company. The stock has fallen from $13 in Sep 2014 to now Below $4, and if we use Options to buy the company stock to further lower our cost, Seems like a bargain to me when some 'issue' have been iron out. Playing within Cash Limits and not CFDs to avoid any pain of over-leverage. Using CFDs on such a volatile stock like this your bank account and heart will not be able to take it.

I know I am not comparing apples to apples, But stock like FMG, stock blasted from early 2016 $1.5 to $7! and crash $2 to now.. within 2 months. That's why I have never chase stock no matter how rosy the market views the company. SOLD out my FMG holdings when it was $6.03 Not the best price, but we are small investors not the big boys with more info.

If STO goes down further, might sell some of my investment properties to free up more cash to buy as Real estate valuations seems to gone bonkers!

Bottom line, I like buying stuff that won't go bust, cheap price and known issues iron out and we will be alright. $5.3 sounds about right from Morningstar.

If they further write down the books, what's worse can happen? just book entry of past wrong decision, still better than now. and slowly grow from 2018~2019
