Reporting to the Vice President, People & Culture this role is responsible for adding value to the business by delivering Human Resources and Recruitment advice, support, and services that contribute to effective business strategy implementation, facilitate administrative efficiency and enhance employee contribution to the business. We are looking for an energetic, people person with strong Recruitment experience to join the HR team as our HR and Recruitment Specialist. The successful candidate will look after HR support and find superstar candidates to contribute to the success of the business.
Your Duties
Assist the Vice President, People and Culture with creating employment contracts, offer letters and other employee related documents
Coaching and supporting managers in recruitment and selection processes (including approvals, advertising and interviewing)
Manage, collate applications and responses and ensuring timely updates are provided on stages of the recruitment progress.
Telephone screen and arrange interviews for suitable candidates
Manage candidate and hiring manager expectations
Provide data for HR weekly reports
Creation and maintenance of employee and contractor files
Assist the Office Manager with organising social events for all Nearmap employees
Build up a pipeline of suitable candidates for current open vacancies
Writing up job descriptions and upload them onto different recruitment platforms
Build up relationship with external recruitment agencies
Participate at HR events to drive business and learn new ways to attract talent
Carry out exit interviews
Register new starters on ADP payroll system and lodge tickets on the company’s internal system
From time to time, you will be asked to help out with special projects
About you
4 - 6 years of experience in HR/Administration/Recruitment, preferably in a fast-paced technology industry
Degree qualified, BSc Human Resources or Business Administration degree is required
Experience in managing end to end recruitment in accordance with targeted selection recruitment methodology
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Effective communicator, able to communicate at all levels in the company
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
Energetic, enthusiastic, with a positive attitude, even when under pressure
Flexible to attend after-hours calls/meetings or work on certain tasks that may fall outside of normal work hours
