I understand what you mean! It can be very difficult to find the words to describe a profound experience, in an attempt to explain, the depth and meaning of what that experience held for you. The happy memories are what we are left with, to remember and treasure forever. The inner voice is often difficult for many people to silence, as it carries on a continuous monologue, within the thought processes, on a daily basis. The inner voice can serve us well via our intuition, hunches, give us guidance, alert us to danger, and help us to solve difficulties and challenges, however, it can also sow the seeds of doubt and insecurities in our minds, which can be a mechanism of daily torture for some people, who cannot get any relief from these negative types of thought processes. If the mind can be quietened for a time, then feelings of peace and solace have a chance to enter, and the power that silence brings can be experienced more fully, and enable healing to take place. I've always liked the words; 'in stillness conquer fear.' Thanks for sharing!
