@VYR - let me clarify that for you. I was a huge supporter of VMT early on (when Patrick was intimately involved). Not only was I a supporter but I held a considerable amount of stock. I also did go to China, ride the scooters and know all but one of the directors. Over time, I started voicing my concern about how the company was being run. Ultimately that resulted in me selling my stock (which I stated at the time). I have not mentioned that again because there is no reason to rub salt in wounds because I got out when I did and I happened to make the right call. We all make investment decisions and I made one effectively based on my own concerns (which I had shared on this forum). Others decided for their own reasons not to sell. That's how it works; we all make our own decisions and live with the consequences.
However, I have for a number of years thought this company can be rescued if run by the right people. And to clarify, just because I know directors of a company does not mean I think they are qualified or doing a good job. This is a clear case in point.
I genuinely hope shareholders will change things and if they do and the right people come on board, I gladly become re-engaged. Until that happens, I occasionally "look over the fence" to see what is happening. That's all.
As Gottalove points out the sp has slumped from 56c to 6.5c today. That is epic value destruction. Also, this is not simply a "market anomaly" - this company is just not being run right and it hasn't for years which explains the continues slide down.
I wish you and all investors all the best but I am perfectly happy NOT holding this stock at this time and hope for the sake of all holders that somebody will DO something. Failing which, as an investor, I would think getting out at these levels will look like a smart investment decision 12 months down the track. Just my thoughts.....
