Late response
Macbank had a PT on MGX of 19c while they traded at 19c with cash at 32c . The day MGX got the insurance payout ( which they totally ignored in their valuation ) they upgraded it to 30c , which was a little late given it has already jumped to 25c
So in this case Macbank research on MGX was laughable . The analysts are very lazy and the fact they didn't even give a risked value for the impending insurance payout was very poor
I suspect they kept recommending it all the way up to the 40s and 50s ?? Don't know if they did but would not surprise me
Macquarie upgrades target price to 55c, but should be more like 70+ cents, page-74
