In hindsight I would wind this back a tad - "Acceptable standards are all about money".
It would be better said that clearly, realistic environmental standards are required and the money to ensure that they are maintained needs to be factored in as a cost of the project (yes, if it goes ahead).
We will all have our different ideas as to how to balance protecting the environment, meeting short term economic & social goals plus reaching both economic & environmentally acceptable long term goals. You will never get the perfect case for either.
I let the blatant lying hypocrisy of the Greens push my buttons.
