Well perhaps the bowl of fruit wouldn't have gotten us into said position in the first place .

I whole heartedly agree that this is much better than admin, and I don't doubt that their bargaining power was limited ....
I also believe longterm that the stock may flourish (though it would help to have a Strategic CI given the part of the world they're working in)... but this doesn't mean that they've done a good job... not even close.

Time will tell. It is what it is.
