My research uncovered there is a company which came to market recently Aug 2016 along similar path to WBT.
Northern Iron was renamed DOTZ NANO LIMITED and backed by the Rice University and Professor Jame Tour no less.
Whislt there research was more to do with colour GQDs .....Recent release suggests they could now be in the flash memory RACE
