Construction on NorthConnex started in 2015 and is due for completion in 2019.
The $2.9 billion project comprises a $2.65 billion design and construction contract delivered by Lend Lease and Bouygues Construction, along with land and project delivery costs. It will be funded through toll charges with a contribution from the NSW and Federal Governments of up to $405 million each.
