To follow up on NPV.
The scoping study assumed a specific yield of 20% for a resource of 24Mt. This gave a NPV pre-tax of $534M.
The reality is that the drainable resource is 153Mt.
This is a 32 fold increase in yield compared to the scoping study numbers.
Are we looking at a $16B monster?
It will be very interesting to see what NPV figures are given in the FS.
I think I noted in the environmental stuff submitted to the WA gov that the mine life would be 20 years. Is this standard for such applications?
The potential mine life must surely be seen as very attractive to potential partners and financiers.
