It's reassuring at the very least that an insto is buying in. I don't know that PPL's reputation is that great? But yes, this puts them at a tad over 13% stake?
I've been encouraged by quite a lot of covering of short positions over the past two weeks (from around 6.45% to 4.88% by 01.03.17. I have been watching ACX since around this time last year and am glad that I took the short activity on that stock seriously. Can't say the same for many on that forum. However, would still like to see aggregated shorts on IPH drop further.
As for funny trading, maybe SGH is beating down enthusiasm for listed law firms. Also keep hearing about investors dumping mid-caps for blue chips. Or maybe Shiva was right all along (please don't let it be the last one).
