i just don't understand all this- Aldi stores are on average, mostly stand alone , just like IGA , which is an OZ independent.
so if the convenience factor is the issue, then why not shop at IGA? they have generic label products, are Aussie franchise owner operated and have about 10 times the range of product on offer compared to Aldi.
in fact, i am tempted in doing my next shop there, as i have only read positive reports.
you also have mega IGA stores, which offer great bargains on meat.
i have one of these close by.
