However do be too critical, OpenVDB is the best in the world in this domain and it is being used by some many applications, and the advantages of this progressive software is that every system adopter brings new and advancing techniques which ensure it is faster and superior to other systems (including Pointerra).

And why haven't they done a Pointerra. Maybe because they see there is no significant money to be had.
