In past business we had parts pulled out mid production and after finishing and airfreighted.
We did quality control on the samples before we would have them packed to be exported and then imported. Saved us a mint as sometimes metal would not be to spec, cast porus , heat treatment wrong forgetting finishing or even wrong part number stamps etc etc and including completely wrong part manufactured and we had staff on the ground over there.
